As Christmas draws near, the season of hope and joy calls us to reflect, reconnect, and renew our spirits. In a world filled with turmoil and uncertainty, the message of Christ’s birth shines ever more brightly. This year, we extend a heartfelt invitation to join us in celebrating the wonder of the Nativity within St. Colmcille’s Pastoral Area.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Masses
Whether you are a regular parishioner or someone who may have drifted away, we warmly encourage you to make a special effort to attend Mass this Christmas. The doors of our churches are open wide, offering you a place of peace, comfort, and belonging. The beautiful liturgies of Christmas remind us of the light that entered the world through the birth of Jesus and the promise of peace He brought for all.
Here are the Mass times across St. Colmcille’s Pastoral Area:

Please know that while these Masses take place in different locations, each one belongs to our shared community. The Pastoral Area is an extension of your Parish family, and all are welcome in every one of our churches. If Mass times at one location don’t suit, or you wish to experience a different setting, feel free to join a celebration at another church within our Pastoral Area. This Christmas, let us embrace the idea of community beyond boundaries and come together in prayer and fellowship.
Praying for Peace
In these troubled times, let us gather to pray for peace – within our hearts, our families, and our world. The message of Christmas is one of reconciliation and hope, and through our shared worship, we can be instruments of that peace, carrying it beyond the church walls into our daily lives.
A Grateful Community
We want to express our deepest gratitude to all who give their time, talents, and dedication to our parish community: those who care for the church, participate in ministries, and faithfully attend Mass. Your contributions help make our parish a welcoming and vibrant home for worship and fellowship.
To those who have returned home for Christmas, we say: Welcome back! It is a joy to celebrate this season with you. And to any visitors among us, please know that you are most welcome here. For those unable to be home this Christmas, we invite you to share our Mass schedule and connect via the webcam, so that even from afar, we can be united in prayer and celebration.

Wishing You a Blessed Christmas
May this Christmas fill your hearts with joy and your homes with love. May the peace of Christ, born in a humble manger, dwell within you and inspire you to bring light and hope to others. We wish you and your loved ones a happy and holy Christmas, and may the coming year be filled with blessings.
With every good wish and prayer,
The St. Colmcille’s Pastoral Area Clergy Team
